Your instruction is very clear and you're obviously a very good teacher. I just want to lightly mention, according to what I've learned from a national syllabus, this isn't at all correct. I know there are many different names for each tap step- I don't mean to overstep, just make watchers aware. For example, in the syllabus I've learnt from my whole life, a ball dig and a toe dig are the same thing- what you demonstrated as a toe dig is actually called a toe tap, which you release immadiately. Logically, from what a ball dig and a heel dig are, you can see that what was demostrated as a toe dig doesn't fit the definition. Equally, there is only one way to do a heel dig- the second way you showed. The first way is called a heel drop, and is characterized by how the ball of the foot is already on the floor when you drop the heel.
Best regards!
